During the 6th century, an aromatic piece of agarwood drifted ashore on Awaji Island, Japan and piqued the interest of locals. Its uses and aromatic scent while burning was soon discovered and subsequently offered to the empress as a gift. Ever since, Japanese incense has been celebrated and used in ritual. 

Offering a shift of perspective and reclamation of self, our 100% natural incense is designed in Melbourne and crafted on Awaji Island. Wihtin Incense believe in purposeful creation and donate 10% of all profits to charities in support of mental wellbeing.

Available in three scents:

Invigorate: Geramnium | Star Anise -Expect fruity and spicy aromas, blended to invigorate the mind, body and soul. 

Ground: Cedar | Pine - Expect woody and warm aromas, blended to promote awareness and ground you in the present moment.

Create: Patchouli | Geranium  - Expect earthy, floral and musk aromas, blended to encourage a creative spirit.

Each tube contains 50 low smoke incense, with over 20 hours of burn time. The incense is approximately 14cm in length and contains no bamboo inner, meaning you will get more out of your burn.

Our incense can be used during meditation, yoga or simply around the home, leaving a delicate scent behind after burning.

To use, delicately remove the incense from the tube, light the tip and then blow out the flame. Place the incense in a holder on a flat surface to receive the ashes, take a moment of pause, and sit within. Always burn supervised and out of reach of children.
