1803 Deer Antler Pairing Knife.
A paring knife is the little workhorse in any kitchen, perfect for peeling, dicing and chopping. Once the hard work is done, it can then tart up any platter you pull together. It is not just a pretty blade.
1803 set their carbon steel blades into handcrafted deer antler handles and then fix them with brass nails. Time is spent ensuring each piece of antler is chosen and prepared so that it feels good in the hand, naturally comfortable.
Every blade has distinct marks that reflect the traditional forging process. Every antler handle has its own unique colours and form that come from the deer that shed it. 1803 knives have a very pleasing weight and balance to them, and are an absolute pleasure to use. 1803’s paring knife is presented in a suede knife wrap.
