1803's hand forged carbon steel chefs' knife is an impressive and sophisticated multi-purpose utility blade that is the go-to-tool for every serious cook. It performs virtually all kitchen tasks with ease including mincing, slicing and chopping.
These hand-forged classic chefs' blades are set in red deer antler which not only feel good in the hand but also provide additional grip when wet. They are then finished with a small brass nail.
Every 1803 knife is ruggedly handsome, unique and completely traceable from our farm gate; our hand-forged blade collection has rare provenance & represents authentic Australian luxury. As the blade is forged from carbon steel, it will tarnish and patina with time and use – this is part of its inherent beauty.
Every serious cook will enjoy working magic with this beauty. Our chefs' knives are presented in a leather knife wrap. Chop chop!
