Back in 1803 the first deer were introduced to Australia. The name of this range comes from that date, because in a way that’s when their story began.
Penny and her family have been sustainably and ethically farming red deer on rolling pastures near Orange, Central NSW for 32 years. The idea of 1803 began with a commitment to the nose-to-tail philosophy and a spirit of collaboration. 1803 works with talented Australian artisans to use the antlers and hides, which are the natural bi-products of deer farming.
Practical and so soft to hold, these pouches from 1803 are simple in design and function. For your keys or your coins, make-up, jewellery, your phone recharger – whatever you need when you are out and about.
As you use your 1803 pouch, it will soften and patina – taking on the oils from your hands, evolving and becoming addictively tactile. You too may start to pat your pouch – you have been warned!
Large – 20cm long, 15cm high, lined with striped cotton.
