After founder Tony and his wife Liz discovered that Banksia was particularly porous they began to experiment with the use of good quality essentials oils. Because the seed pod is not as dense as timber, it has the ability to soak up essential oils. Once the oil is soaked up it is slowly released through the holes of the pod. Tony and Liz are proud to have discovered this functional, decorative and eco-friendly product that they hope to see in every environmentally conscious household.

Each Aroma Pod has a combination of rough edges (the outside of the seed pod), holes where the seeds once were and a red velvety fur. These attributes are a completely natural part of the seed pod. Each Aroma Pod has its own unique qualities and you will never find two the same.

Why? The Banksia Grandis seed pod (the material from which they are made) is particularly porous, it soaks up your essential oil and slowly releases the aroma through its pores. No flames and no electricity are needed with our all natural diffuser!

Your aroma pod comes pre-tested and filled with our very own high quality Pure Australian Eucalyptus oil. Each one is completely different from the last and can be filled with any essential oil you like. Aroma Pod's are best used in smaller areas of your home that don't usually have powerpoint's. Areas like your powder room, wardrobes, your car and an excellent personal diffuser on your bedside table and work/study desk!

Aroma Pod Instructions

Step 1. Remove the cork from Aroma Pod
Step 2. Choose a good quality Essential Oil or blend and place 1ml of oil into the pod
Step 3. Place cork back on Aroma Pod

Step 4. Refresh every day or so with a few more drops

The banksia pods are grown and harvested from WA they are then turned on the Gold Coast to create this product.

The collection of the Banksia Grandis is highly regulated by the Department of Parks and Wildlife Western Australia. It is Banksia Gifts responsibility to ensure that the landscape is undisturbed and that the Banksia trees continue to thrive in the Australian bush. A royalty is paid to the Western Australian Forestry per seed pod, which goes to aid in forest management and conservation.
