The Opinel Picnic Knife was originally made as a safety knife for children to learn whittling, (Mon Premier Opinel – My First Opinel), it is the perfect folding knife for picnics, camping and hiking. It is light, functional and the round tip is perfect for spreading your condiments.
The corrosion-resistant stainless-steel blades are made from Swedish Sandvik steel and require no special care.
These knives have the Virobloc safety system on the collar which locks the blade into position – open or shut.
From head to tail the knife measures 18cm. The blade itself measures 7cm. This knife folds down to easily fit in your pocket or glove box.
