THE PANTON COTTAGE
The Panton Cottage, a quaint restored 2 bedroom 1930's cottage nestled in the tiny town of Toora, South Gippsland. The interior of the cottage has been styled by Shelley Panton, and our bookings are now open. Our cottage features a sun-drenched sunroom, a cozy lounge, dedicated dining space, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities. And we will be adding a BBQ to the garden space by December.
Our cottage beautifully balances period details with thoughtful modern updates. It is intentionally designed as a low-tech haven to help you completely switch off, slow down, and relax. There is no TV or microwave, allowing you to fully disconnect. Instead, we invite you to browse our selection of books and local travel guides or use the small stereo to spin CDs or stream your favourite playlists via Bluetooth.
Step outside onto the private deck to take in sweet views of Toora's rolling hills. Explore the garden where you are welcome to share the seasonal produce during your stay.
With 2 queen beds, or we can accommodate up to 4 guests with all linen provided. While you’ll feel worlds away, the cottage is situated right in the heart of the tiny, historic town of Toora.
Toora has a population of 700 people. The town has a bank, post office, chemist, supermarket, two hair salons, a wood fired bakery, a deli, a wool shop, a heritage pear orchard, a hall, a CFA station, and The Panton Store.
Toora is nestled amongst the rolling hills South Gippsland, and is about 35 minuted to the entrance to Wilson's Prom.
